My time in Ghana was amazing. My project was to work in an orphanage and a school. The kids were between 5 and 18 years old and they were so lively and lovely and it was a joy to play with the kids and make them happy. I never felt alone in the project because the pastor took always care of the to make me feel home. It was not a problem to travel somewhere so I had the chance to see a lot of Ghana. My time was not really planned so I decided if I want to go to the nursery or to the school and also if I want to help in the lessons or do some reading with a single child. So you need to search for work you can do but they are grateful for every help. The live there is totally different to ours at home so you need to live in basic conditions. I learned a lot and can recommend this experience to everybody.
